Stromberg, a very special plum tree, the Stromberger Pflaume, thrives. It was taken from the south of France to the Münsterland around 1790 and from then on it bore the name of its new home. The plum has a mild aroma, which convinces with a pronounced fruit taste. This combination also makes the plum juice a unique palate. The high-plumed plum variety has a protected designation of origin in order to secure and promote its uniqueness.
